Reflection

  •  Even though we haven't finished our project, I have a concept as to what it is going to look like when we finish it. We have done multiple run-throughs and made adjustments and editions to improve it. So far I love how we have been able to build a whole story from scratch while only using the topic of "social status", and I like how we have been able to have fun but stay on task. We have all made contributions to the piece and have shown maximum effort with all stunts.
  • The main part of TPB we are using is verbatim, we have not really worried about verbatim, as the topic we're doing is relatable and it will be easy for us to talk about these topics.
  • In the begining, I really had no idea what we were doing, but I realized that this type of theatre is free to interpretation, and you can use different forms of theater and methods of performance to express yourself. I never thought we would be able to tell a story about social class using horror and action, but we have managed to do it.
  • The begining part of this process was very confusing, because we weren't working as a group, and we were restricting ourselves to boring ideas about social status. When we eventually decided to have fun with it and think about different ways in which we could express ourselves, it became easier to create scenes and make the play and sequence of the play flow.
