I apologize for not turning this in I did not see it :(
Emotion and movement- From the first monologue of the play there is so much movement and it is where it may look like random dance moves, these movements show the emotions of the characters. Initially seeing this, I was curious as to why there were so many people on the stage during a monologue and why they were moving around like they were dodging the light, but it turned out they were just the remaining cast members carrying out movements for the character in the spotlight. I also noticed how with specific movements in Rosie's monologue, when she talked about her family there were multiple people hugging her and the movements were able to tell me the relationship between each person, as it showed emotion and was able to tell a story. Another thing I noticed was that we only saw the cast on the stage, even when scenes changed and things needed to be moved around, the characters did it themselves and I find that very cool. I also love how realistic and authentic it seems, knowing the difficulty in producing a family-oriented play without seeming cringy, overdramatic, or exaggerative.
